911 Release of Souls Concert in Vancouver: Fundraiser for the families of the firefighters who lost their lives trying to save the lives of others: I can’t remember the year – it was around 2005. Click image to watch video:
This concert at the 911 event was one of Janina’s most spectacular concerts. She had a full orchestra behind her, along with a band, drums, bass, electric guitar and keyboard. As you watch the video you can see how naturally she performs and captivates the audience! I was so honoured she asked me to play a flute solo during her performance.
Now, the craziest thing is that on this day Janina had a most horrible flu! She was stuffed up, head a terrible headache, a fever, and was in bed for several days recovering. It is absolutely astonishing that she could pull this off without anyone knowing she was sick during her performance!
The children were some of my students, Claudia’s girls, and a few children the artist/organizer had gathered together Are not the Flag Fairy Wings magnificent!

Janina and Mr. I performed hundreds of concerts together over a period of about 25 years! So much joy, so much laughter, so much fun! We are so grateful for the children!
